In this sermon, Pastor Cecil Mathew explores the concept of finding joy in chaos by examining various biblical stories of Jesus navigating challenging situations. He emphasizes that despite external circumstances, believers can maintain peace and joy by understanding their identity in Christ, recognizing their spiritual weapons, and exercising their God-given authority.
Using examples from the Gospels, such as Jesus calming the storm, feeding the 5,000, and raising Jairus' daughter, the pastor illustrates how Christ can bring order and provision to seemingly impossible situations. He highlights that Jesus consistently demonstrated supernatural power in natural, chaotic environments, showing that God's plan can transcend human limitations and expectations.
Pastor Mathew provides three key strategies for Christians facing chaos: first, embracing their identity as children of God; second, utilizing spiritual weapons like truth, faith, and the Word of God; and third, confidently exercising spiritual authority. He encourages believers to remain focused on Christ, maintain forgiveness, and approach challenging situations with the understanding that God is always present and capable of transforming difficult circumstances.

I
want
to
share
a
word
with
you.
Last
Sunday,
our
family
had
the
privilege
to
visit
and
minister
at
Soulkride
Church.
Pastor
David
Hamm,
who's
a
friend
of
our
church,
gave
us
the
invitation
to
minister
there,
and
we
had
the
privilege
to
go
there
last
week.
And
while
ministering
the
word
there,
the
Lord
just
dropped
something
in
my
spirit,
which
I
just
kind
of
declared
it
in
that
moment
while
I
was
preaching
the
Word.
And
I
could
sense
in
that
moment
there
was
something
that
was
happening.
And
I
don't
usually
give
context
like
this
when
I
preach
here,
but
I
wanted
to
share
that
here
because
that
word
I
couldn't,
like,
kind
of
run
away
from
or
I
couldn't
let
go
of
it.
I
guess
the
Lord
just
kept
pressing
that
word
in
my
spirit.
And
maybe
I
said,
lord,
what
is
it?
And
I'm
just
trusting
the
Lord.
It's
a
word
for
this
house
as
well.
Amen.
And
it's
not.
I'm
not
repeating
the
message
from
last
week.
I'm
just
building
on
a.
I
want
to
say
I
don't
like
saying
these
things,
but
it
was
a
prophetic
word
that
was
given
in
that
moment.
And
I
believe
that
the
Lord
has
something
for
someone
here
in
this
place.
It
may
be
one
person.
It
may
be
all
of
us,
but
would
you
pray
that
the
Lord
will
minister
to
each
of
us
here
today?
Amen.
Listen,
don't
wait
for
Pastor
C
to.
Bring
some
revolutionizing
thought
that
it's
the
same
word
every
week.
All
we
can
go
back
to
is
the
same
word.
And
all
we
can
trust
is
the
Holy
Spirit
will
minister
to
your
lives
when
the
word
is
preached.
Amen.
Listen,
more
than
Pastor
C
or
any
of
the
pastors
know
about
anything
in.
Your
lives,
I
believe
and
I
know
that
the
Lord
knows
everywhere
he
needs
to
get
to
in
our
life.
I
want
to
ask
you
to
turn.
Your
attention
to
the
Gospel
According
to
John,
chapter
16,
verse
33.
The
gospel
according
to
John,
1633.
And
I
know
we
were
standing
for
a
little
bit,
but
let's
just
stand
in
honor
of
reading
the
word
John,
chapter
16,
verse
33.
When
you
have
it,
say
Amen.
I
want
to
read
it
from
two
versions.
The
new
King
James
and
then
also
the
new
living
translation.
The
new
King
James
reads
like
this.
These
things
I
have
spoken
to
you
that
in
me
you
may
have
peace.
In
the
world,
you
will
have
tribulation.
But
be
of
good
cheer.
I
have
overcome
the
world.
Let
me
read.
In
the
new
living
translation,
it
says,
Jesus
is
speaking
here.
I
have
told
you
all
this
so
that
you
may
have
peace
in
me
here
on
Earth,
you.
You
will
have
many
trials
and
sorrows.
But
take
heart,
because
I
have
overcome
the
world.
May
the
Lord
bless
the
reading
of
the
Word
in
Jesus
name,
Amen.
You
may
be
seated.
I
believe
all
of
us
go
through
moments
and
seasons
in
our
life
or
situations
that
we
are
in
our
life
that
it
feels
like
there's
chaos
all
around
us.
It
feels
like.
I
don't
like
using
this
word
because
it's
not
a.
I
don't
want
to
say
good
word,
but
it's
not
a
bad
word.
But
it's
not
really
a
good.
I
feel
like
sometimes
we
live
in
a
crazy
world
and
we
think
the
world
around
us
and
everything
around
us
and
the
culture,
society,
the
nation,
politics,
everything
is
crazy.
But
if
we
really
boil
it
down,
our
own
little
worlds
can
get
crazy.
But
I
also
believe
that
if
we
put
our
trust
in
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
that
he
could
be
our
peace.
In
the
middle
of
our
crazy.
Today,
I
want
to
bring
a
message.
Title
or
just
a
thought.
I
don't
want
to
even
call
it
a
message.
I
just
want
to
share
a
thought
with
you.
An
invitation,
but
also
a
challenge
to
each
and
every
one
of
us.
Find
your
joy
in
chaos.
Find
your
joy
in
the
chaos.
There
are
moments,
seasons
and
situations
in
our
life,
even
spaces
in
our
life
that
we
are
living
around
in
the
middle
of
chaos.
And
you
have
to
wonder,
where
do
we
get
our
strength?
Where
do
we
find
even
our
sanity?
Where
do
we
find
our
peace?
Where
do
we
find
any
of
these
things?
And
trusting
in
the
Word.
I
want
to
declare
to
you,
our
joy
in
the
chaos
is
in
Christ
Jesus.
You
know,
I
want
to
say
like
this.
Maybe
the
two,
two
and
a
half
hours
that
you
and
I
find
ourselves,
make
ourselves
come
here
could
be
the
calmest
two
and
a
half
hours
that.
You
have
in
your
life.
Maybe
you're
running
away
from
the
crazy
and
the
chaos
that
you
live
in
247
and
you're
saying,
God,
just
get
me
into
the
house
of
the
Lord.
It's
the
most
calmest
place.
It's
the
most
quietest
place.
I
don't
have
to
talk.
There's
Pastor
C
to
talk
all
day.
There's
a
worship
team
to
sing
to
me.
I
don't
have
to
do
anything.
I
just
got
to
stand
here.
I
just
got
to
make
it
there,
find
my
seat
and
just
get
there.
And
I
could
just
be
just
calm
here
for
the
next
three
hours.
And
that's
why
maybe
some
of
us
stay
here
long
in
fellowship
time
and
you
all
lock
up
because
you
don't
want
to
go
back
home.
I'm
just
kidding.
But
I
believe
the
Lord
didn't
just.
Put
this
by
chance.
I
think
there
are
people
that
are
coming
to
the
house
of
the
Lord
looking
for
refuge
from
a
crazy
place.
That
they
live
in
every
day
of
their
life.
And
I
pray
and
I
believe
that
many
servants
of
God
have
prayerfully
said
to
many
of
us
personally,
but
also.
To
this
house,
this
is
a
place
of
refuge.
The
house
of
the
Lord
is
a
place
of
refuge.
So
if
that
is
you,
you
keep
running
into
the
house
of
the
Lord.
If
that
is
you,
you
keep
bringing
others
into
the
house
of
the
Lord.
If
that
is
you,
you
keep
making
your
way,
finding
the
time,
getting
around
people
that
are
to
the
house
of
the
Lord
into
the
presence
of
God.
Because
maybe
these
two
hours
could
be
your
calmest
two
hours,
but
this
could
be
the
most
important
two
hours
of
your
life
to
get
you
strengthened,
equipped
and
empowered,
to
send
you
back
into
your
crazy
worlds.
We're
all
going
back
to
regular
life
after
this.
We
all
got
our
routines
and
our
schedules.
We
got
our
obligations,
our
responsibilities.
I
cannot
remove
the
chaos
and
the
craziness
that,
that
you
experience
in
your
life.
But
I
can
invite
you
to
invite
someone
else
to
walk
with
you
into
your
crazy
world,
into
your
chaos.
So
you
can
say
boldly
and
humbly
and
confidently,
I
can
get
through
this.
Because
the
Lord
is
with
me.
And
that's
why
John
16:33,
Jesus
reminds
his
disciples,
but
all
of
us
here,
even
in
this
day,
listen,
I've
spoken
to
you
already.
I'm
telling
you
all
these
things
because
I'm
telling
you
what's
going
to
come,
because
I
already
know
what's
going
to
come.
But
I'm
telling
you
all
these
things
because
you
may
have,
so
that
you
may
have
peace
in
this
world.
You
will
have
tribulation
or
trials
and
sorrows.
Anyone
ever
going
through
a
trial,
anyone
going
through
a
tribulation,
anyone
going
through
some
sorrow
right
now,
anyone
going
through
some
chaos
right
now.
Jesus
already
promised
that
he
would
experience
it.
But
he
says,
be
of
good
cheer,
be
joyful
flesh,
find
joy,
be
of
joy,
full
of
joy.
So
that
because
you
can
say,
because
the
joy
of
the
Lord
is
my.
Strength,
my
God
will
help
me
overcome
in
the
middle
of
my
chaos.
I
just
want
to
share
with
you
a
few
instances
where
Jesus
walks
into
some
chaos
in
his
life,
but
also
in
his
ministry.
In
Mark
4,
35,
41.
I
don't
have
the
time
to
read
through
all
the
verses.
I'm
just
giving
you
the
Scriptures
and
the
references
so
that
you
can
just.
Take
note
of
it.
Jesus
calms
the
storm.
He's
asleep
on
the
boat
with
his
disciples.
He's
got
a
nice
pillow,
and
he
is
knocked
out
in
the.
In
the
place
where
he
rests
in
the
boat.
The
raging
storm
is
around
them.
The
ship
is
all
being
battered.
The
disciples
are
screaming
and
just
wondering
what's
going
on.
How
can
he
be
sleeping
and
resting
in
the
middle
of
the
storm?
He
can,
because
he
is
the
creator
of.
Of
all
nature.
Everything
that
he
created
is
submitted
to
his
word.
And
there's
a
moment
that
he
gets
up
and
says
to
the
storms,
to
the
winds
and
to
the
waters,
he
said,
peace,
be
still,
and
you
see
that
the
storm
obeys.
I
want
to
remind
us
Jesus
has
authority
over
all
of
his
creation.
Jesus
has
authority
over
all
of
his.
Creation
and
even
the
storms
that
we
face
in
our
life.
You
know,
yesterday
I
was
on
a
flight,
and
before
we
took
off,
the.
Pilot
kind
of
gave
us
a
rundown
of
what
to
expect,
of
what
the
flight
path
could
be
and
all
those
things
and
the
timing
and
all.
He
did
mention
in
between
that
there
would
be
some
storms
in
the
way
between
Dallas
to
New
York.
And
he
said,
they're
going
to
try
to
get
around
it
as
much
as
possible,
but
there
is
a
chance
that
they
would
have
to
go
through
the
storm.
And
so
we
got
to
be
prepared
for
the
turbulence
in
those
moments.
I
want
to
almost
give
you
some
advice
and
just.
I
don't
want
to
say
forecast
the
weather,
but
if
you're
not
in
a
storm
now,
there
are
going
to
be
some
storms
that
are
brewing
in
your
life.
And
you
have
to
be
ready
to
discern
when
the
storm
is
brewing.
And
the
storm
is
out
there
in
the
yonder,
out
there,
out
there
as
far
as
you
can
see.
You
can
see
some
clouds
gathering.
You
can
see.
You
can
tell
even
in
nature
when
you're
standing
outside,
bright
sunshine
a
day.
And
you
see
some
cloud
cover
starting
to
move
in,
you
can
say,
hey.
The
rain
is
coming,
and
you
start
preparing.
I
want
to
tell
you
somebody
in
this
place,
there
may
be
not
storms
right
now.
You
may
be
living
in
a
sunshiny
day
right
now,
but
there
is
a
storm
that
could
be
coming
and
brewing.
It
may
be
a
storm
that
is
going
to
be
of
our
choices.
It
could
be
a
storm
that
God
is
trying
to
send
to
teach
us
something,
to
strengthen
us.
It
could
be
a
storm
that
the
enemy
is
sending.
In
our
life,
you
have
to
be
able
to
discern
what
kind
of
storm
it
is.
As
you
live,
you
walk
closer
with
the
Lord.
As
you
live
longer,
you'll
be
able
to
see,
hey,
this
storm,
I
can
get
through
that
storm.
I
better
get
around
this
storm
I
better
avoid.
There
are
some
storms
you
don't
even
try
to
go
through.
You
just
park
yourself
there,
wait
till
the
timing
of
God
is
right,
and
then
you
move
under
the
obedience
of
Jesus
Christ.
He
calms
the
storms.
Another
instance
that
you
see
in
the
life
of
Jesus,
I'm
going
to
look
at
some
examples
through
the
life
of
Jesus
here
today.
In
Mark,
chapter
6,
verse
30
to
44,
there
is
a
scene
where
he's
trying
to
feed
the
5,000.
It's
a
massive
and
a
hungry
crowd
in
a
remote
place
in
the
hills
and
the
mountains
of
the
regions
that
he
was
ministering
in.
And
Jesus
told
his
disciples,
listen,
get
them
some
food.
He
feeds
the
5,000
men.
You
don't
even
know
the
count
of
women
and
children.
And
they
tell
him,
hey,
sit
them
down
in
groups
and
say,
find
some
food.
And
they're
like,
where
are
we
going
to
find
food
for
5,000?
You
know
the
story.
You
may
know
the
story.
He
finds
a
little
boy
with
five.
Loaves
and
how
many
fish?
Five
loaves
and
two
fish.
The
Lord
says,
bring
it
to
me.
And
he
takes
it
and
he
blesses
it.
And
the
miracle
of
multiplication
happens
in
that
moment.
And
everyone
eats
to
their
hearts
content.
Their
stomach's
full
and
there's
plenty
of
leftover.
The
thought
I
want
to
share
with
you
from
that
instance
of
where
Jesus.
Walks
into
a
chaotic
scene
is
he.
Can
bring
order
and
he
can
provide.
In
the
middle
of
situations
where
you
think
it's
impossible,
in
the
middle
of.
Chaos,
where
it's
5,000
plus
people
there
and
you
don't
know
how
to
organize
this,
you
don't
know
how
to
plan
for
this,
you
don't
know
how
to
prepare
for
this.
And
they're
not
even
prepared
for
this
moment.
But
the
Lord
says,
if
I
am
here,
that's
enough.
Amen.
I
think
that's
if
I
am
here,
that's
enough.
We're
looking
for
so
many
other
people
and
we're
making
the
mistake
of
overlooking
Jesus
presence.
We
need
Jesus
there.
And
also
we
need
the
awareness
to
say,
hey,
the
Lord
is
with
me.
He's
got
me,
he's
got
this.
He's.
We
run
to
the
people,
we
run
to
the
places,
we
run
to
the
things
to
bring
us
comfort,
to
bring
us
resources,
to
bring
us
joy,
to
bring
us
resolutions,
to
bring
us
answers.
But
I'm
telling
you,
we
are
trying
to
look
for
it
everywhere
else,
but
we
just
have
to
realize
he
was
with
us.
Just
do
what
he
says.
Find
some
food.
He'll
take
care
of
the
rest.
I
want
to
tell
you
in
the
middle
of
unplanned
and
unexpected
moments
in
your
life.
Even
in
the
middle
of
craziness
in
your
life,
make
sure
you
realize
the
presence
of
Christ
is
with
you.
And
if
you
remember,
if
you
remember
that,
sorry,
you
also
listen
to
what.
He
says
and
he'll
bring
order
and
he'll
provide.
In
the
middle
of
what
we
don't
have,
he
will
provide.
There's
another
scene.
This
is
Jairus
daughter
in
Mark
chapter
five.
We're
really
going
through
the
book
of.
Or
the
Gospel
according
to
Mark.
Mark
chapter
five.
There's
Jairus
daughter
and
Jesus
is
on
the
way
to
minister
to
her
in
Jairus
home.
The
little
girl
is
dying.
And
on
the
way
there,
you
know.
The
story
that
the
woman
with
the.
Issue
of
the
blood
maybe
interrupts
his
journey,
but
she
had
a
need
too.
He's
on
the
way
to
Jairus
house
to
minister
to
and
pray
and
bring
healing
and
deliverance
and
life
back
to
Jairus
daughter.
But
this
woman
with
the
issue
of
blood
comes
and
is
also
minister
too.
By
the
time
he
starts
to
resume
his
journey
to
the
house,
they
get
word
that
the
girl
has
died.
I
want
to
tell
you
if
the
Lord
told
you
to
do
something,
and.
The
Lord
also
takes
a
moment
to.
Pause
to
do
something
for
someone
else,
don't
get
bitter
about
it.
Celebrate
what
God
is
doing
in
the
life
of
the
woman
with
the
issue
of
the
blood.
But
Jairus
got
the
word,
it's
too
late.
But
Jesus
says,
no,
no,
no,
it's
not
too
late.
I
got
still
work
to
do
and
I
will
come
with
you
to
your
house.
I
want
to
ask,
ask
us
how
many
of
us
have
heard
the
words
of
the
people
that
said
it's
too
late
and
stopped
the
plan
of
God
from
Jesus
entering
into
that
situation
and
doing
the
work
that
he
intended
to
do.
Our
dear
sister
Hannah
said,
he's
the
author
and
the
perfecter
and
the
finisher
of
our
faith.
Yes,
he
started
that
plan
of
raising.
Up
Jairus
daughter
when
Jairus
came
to
him.
Yes,
the
women
of
the
issue
with.
The
issue
of
blood
came
and
Jesus
ministered
to
her.
But
Jesus
did
not
finish
the
story.
In
Jairus
daughter's.
How
many
of
us
have
written
off
the
story
that
God
had
for
our.
Life
because
we
thought
it
was
too
late?
We
heard
the
voice
of
man
and
we
said,
hey,
they
think
it's
too
late.
Maybe
I'll
just
believe
alongside
with
them.
But
we
have
to
hold
on
to
the
word
that
the
Lord
gave
to
us.
Hold
on
to
the
word
that
the
Lord
gave
to
us
even
when
it
looks
like
it's
too
late.
Somebody
Jesus
is
never
late.
Jesus
is
never
late.
I
heard
a
phrase
growing
up,
one
of
our
old
pastors
said,
delay
is
not
denial.
Delay
is
not
denial.
The
Scripture
says
in
Ecclesiastes,
in
His
time,
he
makes
all
things
beautiful.
He
makes
it
beautiful
in
his
time.
Pastor,
you're
saying
all
these
things,
but
you
don't
know
what
I'm
going
through.
You're
right.
I
don't
know
what
you're
going
through.
But
I
do
know
what
the
stories
remind
us
of,
what
Jesus
can
do.
And
I
believe
we
could
all
connect
to
something
that
we
see
here
in
the
Scriptures.
Even
when
it
looks
like
it's
too
late,
he's
not
late.
He's
not
deterred
by
the
opinions
and
the
ideas
and
the
realities
of
what
we
see
with
our
natural.
God
has
a
plan
to
do
the
supernatural
in
our
lives.
Naturally,
the
girl
had
died.
Naturally,
the
people
in
the
house
started
wailing
and
crying
and
started
grieving.
Naturally,
the
father
got
the
news
and.
He
said,
there's
no
more
hope.
But
Jesus
says,
I
know
you
deal
in
the
natural,
but
Jesus
is
here
today
to
tell
you,
I
deal
in
the
supernatural.
And
I
want
to
work
a
supernatural
miracle
in
your
natural
situation.
Last
but
not
least,
you
see
the
chaos
of
Golgotha.
And
the
scripture
that
we
read
in
the
opening
of
service.
It
says,
because
of
the
joy
set
before
him,
he
endured
the
cross.
There
was
a
joy
in
the
chaos
at
Golgotha.
He
was
being.
He
had
been
stripped
down.
He
had
been
beaten.
He's
being
nailed.
His
hands
and
his
feet
are
being
nailed
to
the
cross.
He's
bleeding
out.
There's
chaos
on
Golgotha.
Two
other
criminals
are
beside
him,
his
loved
ones.
His
mother
is
crying
and
wailing
off
to
the
side
of
the
hill
of
Golgotha.
Chaos
is
the
scene
of
Golgotha.
But
Jesus
walks
into
the
chaos
of
Golgotha
and
he
transforms
it
into
Calvary
so
that
we
can
say,
listen.
Because
he
took
on
the
chaos,
because
he
walked
into
the
middle
of
the
chaos.
My
chaos
spiritual
life
can
be
at
peace
with
God
if
I
put
my
faith
in
that
Jesus
Christ
all
around
him.
He
kept
quiet
while
they
jeered
him
and
insulted
him.
And
he
kept
quiet
while
they
spit
on
him.
He
kept
quiet
while
they
beat
on
him.
He
kept
quiet
while
they
nailed
him.
But
when
he
did
speak,
he
spoke
hope
even
to
the
criminal
that
believed
in
the
last
moment
said,
today
you
will
be
with
me
in
paradise.
I
want
to
tell
you,
even
when
the
voices
around
you
speak
against
you,
I
want
you
to
keep.
I
want
to
ask
you
to
keep
your
mouth
shut.
Keep
your
mouth
shut
and
let
the
Lord
do
his
work.
There
are
many
instances
where
in
my
natural
I
have
and
I
wanted
to
just
let
loose
with
my
mouth
and
just
let
them
have
it.
But
I've
learned
over
the
years,
as
you
get
older,
maybe
it's
because
you're
getting
older
and
you
will
get
wiser.
But
let
me
give
you
some
advice
to
my
younger
self.
It's
okay
to
keep
your
mouth
shut
and
you
keep
doing
what
God
has
called
you
to
do
and
watch
the
Lord
stand
up
for
you.
Jesus
kept
his
mouth
shut
in
the
middle
of
chaos.
He
went
to
full
obedience
to
his
Father's
commands.
He
died
there
on
the
cross.
But
who
got
the
last
word
with
resurrection
life
God.
The
Father
said,
listen,
my
plan
will
be
fulfilled
regardless
of
who
put
him
on
the
cross.
I
will
raise
him
up
from
the
grave.
And
he
spoke
life
and
hope.
But
he
also
said,
father,
forgive
them.
Sometimes
we
can't
let
go
of
chaos
because
we
live
in
the
land
of
unforgiveness.
Until
we
forgive,
don't
be
surprised
if
chaos
surrounds
us.
Let's
learn
to
walk
in
the
freedom
of
forgiveness.
Because
if
you
can
forgive,
Jesus
can
forgive
all
who
did
kill
him.
I
think
Jesus
also
commands
all
of
us,
not
to
suggest
to
us,
but
to
command
us
to
forgive,
even
till
it
hurts.
Just
forgive,
forgive,
forgive,
forgive.
And
as
we
look
at
these
scenes
and
stories
and
examples
in
the
life
and
ministry
of
Jesus,
I
want
to
just
give
you
three
tools
or
three
reminders
as
you
leave
from
this
place
and
maybe
go
back
into
your
chaos
or
your
crazy
spaces.
I
said
earlier,
I
may
not
be.
Able
to
remove
that
craziness
and
the
chaos
from
your
life.
I
can't
take
you
out
from
your
jobs.
I
can't
take
you
out
from
your.
Homes,
I
can't
take
you
out
from
your
schools,
I
can't
take
you
out
from
your
neighborhoods.
Whatever
that
looks
like
in
your
life,
I
can't
take
you
out
of
it.
But
I
can
help
you
through
the
scriptures
and
we
can
help
one
another
release
each
other
back
into
our
places
of
God
assignments
and
say,
listen,
I
can
stand
in
the
power
of
God.
I
can
walk
and
I
can
live
in
the
power
of
God.
Number
one,
this,
know
this.
Use
your
identity.
Number
one,
use
your
identity.
You
and
I
have
to
remember
that
you
are,
we
are
the
children
of
God.
Hallelujah.
Second
Corinthians,
chapter
5,
verse
17
says,
Therefore
if
anyone
is
in
Christ,
he
is
a
new
creation.
Old
things
have
passed
away.
Behold,
all
things
have
become
new.
Praise
God.
You
are
a
new
creation
in
Church.
No,
you
are
a
new
creation
in
marriage.
No,
you're
a
new
creation
in
family.
No,
you're
a
new
creation
in
Christ
Jesus.
Hallelujah.
Listen,
you
get
married,
you
get
some
new
roles
and
responsibilities.
You
become
a
parent,
you
get
even
more
roles
and
responsibilities.
Whatever
roles
and
responsibilities
you
have
that
will
come
and
that
will
go
on
this
earth.
But
your
eternal
identity
is
that
you
are
a
child
of
the
living
and
the
loving.
God
Most
High.
We
care
about
our
identity.
The
world
gives
us
more
than
we
care
about
the
identity
that
Christ
gives
us.
How
do
we.
How
do
people
ask
us,
or
how
do
we
introduce
that?
What
do
you
do?
What
are
you
going
to
school
for?
What
are
you
known
for?
I
want
to
tell
somebody.
Maybe
stop
asking
those
questions
to
new
people
and
say,
hey.
Ask
something
else
that
has
nothing
to
do
with
what
they
do,
but
ask
them
something
that
will
say,
hey.
Defines
their
relationship
with
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
You
and
I
are
a
child
of
God.
In
Colossians,
chapter
three,
verse
three,
it
says,
for
you
died
and
your
life
is
hidden
now
with
Christ
in
God.
Amen.
No,
no,
we
still
have
a
little
bit
of
all
of
it,
or
most
of
ourselves
still
coming
out.
But
we
got
to
be
hidden
in
Christ.
For
you
died.
Yeah,
you
died.
And
now
you're
hidden
in
Christ
Jesus.
First
Peter,
chapter
two,
verse
nine.
But
you
are
a
chosen
generation.
I
love
this
verse.
A
royal
priesthood,
a
holy
nation,
his
own
special
people,
peculiar
people
that
you
may
proclaim
the
praises
of
him
who
called
you
out
of
darkness
into
his
marvelous
light.
Amen.
I
don't
know
what
the
world
is
telling
us,
the
world
is
telling
you
these
days.
But
I
want
to
tell
you,
you
are
a
chosen
generation.
You
are
a
royal
priesthood.
You
are
a
holy
nation
of
peculiar
people.
You
may
be
seen
and
talked
about
as
weird
or
unique
or
peculiar.
I
want
to
tell
you
it's
better
to
be
known
by
God
than
to
be
known
by
man.
It's
better
to
have
the
approval
of
God
than
to
have
the
approval
of
man.
Use
your
identity
in
Christ
Jesus.
Number
two.
Use
your
weapons.
Why
are
we,
as
a
child
of
God,
supposed
to
know
that
we
are
warriors
in
God?
We
are
soldiers
in
Christ
Jesus.
We
are
soldiers
in
the
kingdom
of
God.
I
think
we've
watered
it
down
so
much
that
we've
forgotten
the
reality
that
Christ
is
king.
Christ
is
a
loving
God.
He's
a
loving
father,
he's
all
these
things,
but
he's
also
a
warrior.
That's
why
it
says
in
Second
Corinthians,
chapter
10,
verse
3.
For
though
we
walk
in
the
flesh,
we
do
not
war,
according
to
the
flesh.
For
the
weapons
of
our
warfare
are
not
carnal,
but
mighty
in
God
for
pulling
down
strongholds,
casting
down
arguments,
and
every
high
thing
that
exalts
itself
against
the
knowledge
of
God,
bringing
every
thought
into
the
captivity
to
the
obedience
of
Christ.
Listen,
we
walk
in
the
natural
and
the
flesh.
We
will
get
into
arguments
and
we
will
have
our
temptations.
But
the
Bible
says
our
weapons
are
not
carnal,
our
weapons
are
spiritual.
Know
your
identity
as
a
child
of
God.
When
you're
going
into
your
chaotic
situations,
go
in
knowing,
hey,
I
am
a
child
of
God.
Second,
know
that
you
have
some
weapons
in
your
arsenal.
You're
not
going
empty
handed.
You
have
some
weapons.
Ephesians,
chapter
6,
verse
12
through
18.
You
know
the
weapons
that
he's
given
you.
We
do
not
wrestle
against
flesh
and
blood,
but
against
principalities
and
powers
and
the
rulers
of
the
darkness
of
this
age.
It
says,
therefore
take
up
the
whole
armor
of
God
that
you
may
be
able
to
withstand
in
the
evil
day.
And
having
done
all
to
stand,
stand.
Therefore
listen,
having
girded
your
waist
with
truth,
that's
one
weapon.
Truth
is
your
weapon.
Amen.
Not
your
feelings,
your
truth,
not
your.
Ideas
or
opinions,
but
the
truth.
Truth
is
your
weapon.
Use
the
truth.
Having
put
on
the
breastplate
of
righteousness,
know
that
you
are
righteous
in
Christ,
that
you
have
put
on
the
robes
of
righteousness
that
Christ
gives
you.
Verse
15.
Having
shod
or
put
on
your
feet
with
the
preparation
of
the
gospel
of
peace,
the
sandals
of
peace,
verse
16.
Above
all
else,
taking
the
shield
of
faith,
that's
your
weapon.
Faith
is
your
weapon
with
which
you
will
be
able
to
quench
all
the
fiery
darts
of
the
wicked.
1.
Verse
17.
Take
the
helmet
of
salvation
and
the
sword
of
the
spirit,
which
is
the
word
of
God,
praying
always
with
all
prayer
and
supplication,
these
are
your
weapons.
Why
do
we
keep
losing
in
the
chaos?
Because
we're
not
using
our
weapons.
Why
do
we
lose,
keep
losing
in
the
crazy
places?
Because
we
don't
know
we're
a
child
of
God.
Today
if
I
do
anything
else,
I
want
to
just
remind
you
people,
people
of
God.
You
are
a
child
of
God,
Spirit
of
the
living
God,
you
have
some
weapons.
Use
it.
The
enemy
keeps
beating
us
because
we're
not
using
our
weapons.
But
lastly,
you
know,
we
may
claim,
and
we
may
have
the
confidence
that
we're
a
child
of
God.
We
may
know
the
weapons
that
we
have.
But
also
there's
no
point
in
knowing
that
you're
a
child
of
God
and
knowing
that
you
have
the
weapons
if
you
don't
use
the
authority
that
God.
Has
given
to
you.
You
have
to
know
the
Bible
gives
us
the
authority.
In
Luke,
chapter
10,
verse
19,
it
says,
Behold,
I
give
you
the
authority.
To
trample
on
serpents
and
scorpions
and.
Over
all
the
power
of
the
enemy.
And
nothing
shall
by
means
hurt
you.
First
John,
chapter
four,
verse
four.
You
are
of
God,
little
children,
and
have
overcome
them
because
he
who
is
in
you
is
greater
than
he
who.
Is
in
the
world.
To
use
that
authority,
you
must
use
it
biblically,
but
use
it
with
humility.
You
don't
have
to
go
boasting
about
it.
You
don't
have
to
go
flaunting
it.
Use
it
with
that
humility.
But
that
dependence
on
the
Lord.
Church,
knowing
you're
a
child
of
God,
knowing
you
have
the
weapons,
and
knowing
you
have
spiritual
authority
is
wonderful.
Now
use
it.
Use
it
when
you
walk
back
to
your
homes.
Use
it
when
you
walk
back
to
your
workplaces.
Use
it
when
you
go
back
to
your
marketplace.
Use
it
when
you
go
back
into
the
whatever
situations
and
seasons
you're
facing
in
your
life.
Use
it
knowing
that
you
are
a
child
of
God.
Use
it
knowing
that
you
have
some.
Weapons
in
your
heart.
Use
it
knowing
you
have
some
spiritual
authority
in
your
life.
We
keep
losing
our
joy
in
the
chaos.
We
can't
have
peace
in
the
storms.
We
get
overcome
by
the
troubles
of
this
world
because
we
have
lost
our
sense
of
identity.
We
have
lost
our
awareness
of
the.
Weapons
that
we
have
been
given
to
us,
that
have
been
given
to
us.
And
third,
we
have
lost
the
confidence
to
use
the
spiritual
authority.
Church,
I
want
to
encourage
you
here
today.
I
want
to
challenge
you
here
today
as
a
child
of
God.
Use
the
weapons
that
God
has
given
to
you.
Not
carnal
weapons,
spiritual
weapons,
and
walk
boldly
into
those
places.
Don't
walk
in
defeated.
Walk
in
knowing,
hey,
I
may
be
the
only
one
in
this
job
situation,
I
may
be
the
only
one
in
school,
but
I
got
God
with
me.
I
got
Jesus
with
me.
And
I
know
if
he's
with
me,
I
have
everything
that
I
need.
Lord
Jesus
the
Lord
wants
to
minister
to
each
and
every
one
of
us
here
today.
Leave
from
this
place
strengthened
in
the
power
of
the
Holy
Spirit,
fully
aware
of
who
you
are,
and
go
into
that
place
of
chaos
and
craziness
and
say,
enemy,
you
have
no
more
time
in
this
place.
You
have
no
more
authority
in
this
situation.
Take
back
what
the
enemy
has
stolen.
There's
joy
in
the
chaos.
There's
joy
in
the
storm.
